Let Sleeping Dork Butts Lie |
We recently got a brand new (to us) recliner and it's been a bit of a battle around the house to see who the new chair belongs to. I thought it belonged to me as I was carrying the base up the stairs, but when I went back out to grab the back our cat Sammy claimed it. That's alright. It's good for the cat to have somewhere to call her own. Our other cat Milo found that he could jump up on the back of the chair and make it rock back and forth. This was fantastic for Milo, not so good for Sammy. The best though was when the dog decided that he wanted his share of the chair.
Jaxonn may not look like it in the picture but he weighs in at just shy of 100 pounds. I'm not sure how he curls up that frame into a ball small enough to fit in the chair. I don't know for sure when he started to climb up into it, but now he'll walk over to the chair, paw it and look at me. The same as he does when he wants to get on the couch. (That's right, I make him ask up. I don't want him to take that privilege for granted, and I'm also a big meanie pants.)
